DSGVO

Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect on sbcigars.de, how we use it and what rights you have. It is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing is SBC Global UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Gerichtsstraße 2, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany. Contact: info@sbcigars.de.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Lovable Cloud. When you visit the site, technically necessary data such as your IP address, time of access, page requested and browser used are recorded in server log files. This is required to deliver the site and maintain security. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Server log files are stored for a short period and then deleted automatically.

3. Newsletter via Brevo (double opt-in)

When you sign up for the newsletter, we process your email address as well as the time of sign-up and confirmation. Delivery is handled by Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email. Your subscription only becomes effective after you click the link in that email (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by emailing info@sbcigars.de.

Trade enquiries

When you use the trade form, we store your name, business, city, email address, message, language and consent together with the time of your enquiry in Lovable Cloud. We use these details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. We delete the details once they are no longer needed to handle your enquiry, unless statutory retention duties apply.

4. Age verification and local storage

On your first visit, an overlay asks you to confirm your age. To prevent the overlay from appearing on every visit, we store your confirmation in your browser's local storage (“sb_age_ok”). This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. We also store your language choice (“sb_lang”) locally so the site can be shown in your selected language on your next visit.

We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.

5. External links

Our site may contain links to external websites, for example to Shopify once the shop opens. We have no influence over the privacy practices of these providers and refer you to their respective privacy policies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The relevant authority is the data protection authority of the country where you habitually reside.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page. Last updated: August 2026.
